Connecting with Health: Accessibility to Healthcare Services in Dorset (March 2008)
This study examines access to primary and acute healthcare in rural Dorset and makes a lengthy set of recommendations, with national and local implications, as to how this can be improved.
It takes into account the latest structural and policy changes within the NHS, including extracting and externalising the social (non-medical) aspects of Patient Transport Service from the core PTS contract.
